In our modern world, it is essential to find moments of calm, reflection and connection with our inner self. These courses provide you with tools and techniques to cultivate a sense of balance in your everyday life.
Through practicing yoga, mindfulness and meditation, we help our mind and nervous system to develop a feeling of safety within the body. This work reflects in becoming familiar with the way the body breathes and learning tools to be with the breath in a way that feels comfortable. Embodying sensations and feelings as they happen, knowing what to do when it becomes overwhelming to be with them. How to identify emotions and what we mean when we say that an emotion is strong. How much pain or discomfort are we able to tolerate, and does it make sense to tolerate it? The difference between emotional and physical pain. The strategies that are available when the energy is too low or too high. How to lift up or calm down the nervous system. What works for you as an individual, and what makes sense to do considering the life that you are living right now.
This course will guide you through the foundational practices and principles of mindfulness, enhancing your wellbeing and offering tools to navigate life's challenges with calm and clarity.
This interactive course is structured to offer support during your personal exploration and to help with obstacles that may arise when practicing meditation. During the course there will be reflective practices, group interactions and exploration of the best ways to integrate mindfulness into your routine. Guided meditations and a handbook will be provided.
